S1 surfactant/Ninate 411

Braveds
Overview

Ninate 411 is an anionic surfactant with strong detergency, high thermal stability and acid resistance. It is suitable for diagnostic reagent systems requiring high temperature treatment or acidic environment. Its unique chemical stability and emulsification ability make it excellent in sample cracking, latex particle stabilization and complex matrix processing.

Action mechanism

Strong decontamination ability: highly efficient lysis of cell membranes (such as red blood cells, bacteria), release intracellular targets (such as nucleic acids, antigens), suitable for whole blood/tissue sample pretreatment.

Acidic environmental activity: stable in low pH buffer, suitable for pepsin, acid hydrolase and other catalytic reaction systems (such as digestive fluid preparation).

High thermal stability: Resistant to high temperature sterilization (such as autoclaving or freeze-drying processes), extended reagent shelf life.

Emulsification and dispersion: Stabilizes latex/colloidal gold particles to prevent signal fluctuations caused by aggregation (e.g. immunoturbidimetry).

Anti-protein adsorption: Non-specific binding is reduced by electrostatic rejection and background interference (such as ELISA plate closure) is reduced.

Application scenario

Whole blood lysate: Added to lysate buffer, quickly dissolve red cell membrane, retain the integrity of white blood cells or target proteins.

Latex enhanced immunoturbidimetry: Compounded with latex microspheres, the turbidity signal of antigen-antibody complex is enhanced by electrostatic stabilization.

Enzyme reaction system stabilizer: In high-temperature enzyme (such as Taq polymerase) preservation solution, to prevent enzyme molecules from aggregating and inactivation.

Solid phase carrier sealing liquid: Compound with BSA to seal cellulose nitrate membrane or microporous plate to reduce non-specific adsorption.

General use range: 0.01%-0.5% (gradient test required to avoid excessive protein denaturation or membrane damage).

Matters needing attention

pH sensitivity:Hydrolysis may fail under alkaline conditions (pH >8), and the pH of the reaction system should be controlled (pH 2-7 is recommended).

Ion compatibility:Avoid coexistence with high concentrations of cations (e.g. Ca² +, Mg² +), which may form precipitates.
