Application.
Tris- glycine-SDS (TGS) electrophoresis buffer is the most commonly used buffer for sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE) of proteins. TGS can be used in both anodic and cathodic buffers. It is suggested that the electrophoresis condition of the mini vertical electrophoresis instrument is 150 volts.
Reconstruct.
Diluting 10x TGS buffer to 1x electrophoresis buffer containing 25mM Tris,192mM glycine and 0.1% SDS,pH is about 8.3.
