LwCas13a（C2c2） Nuclease

LwCas13a (C2c2) Nuclease is an RNA mediated endonuclease. When the target RNA has a PFS sequence, it binds to and cleaves to specific sites of target RNA under the guidance of single strand guide RNA. LwCas13a recognizes and cleaves target RNA while releasing strong non-specific single stranded RNA transcleavage activity, which can efficiently cleave any single stranded RNA in the system. This promotes LwCas13a as a new detection tool with promising applications in molecular diagnosis. This LwCas13a Nuclease is derived from Leptotrichia wadei (Lwa) and has good activity at 37-42 ℃.
