LbCas12a (Cpf1) Nuclease

LbCas12a (Cpf1) nuclease is an RNA mediated endonuclease that binds to and cleaves specific sites of target DNA under the guidance of single strand guide RNA in the presence of PAM in target DNA. LbCas12a nucleic acid recognizes and cleaves the target double stranded DNA, while releasing strong non-specific ssDNA transcleavage activity, which can efficiently cleave ssDNA in the system. This promotes LbCas12a as a new detection tool with promising application prospects in molecular diagnosis. This LbCas12a Nuclease is derived from Lachnospiraceae bacterium (Lba) and has good activity at 37-42 ℃.
