Poloxamer 407 is a block copolymer of polyoxyethylene and polypropylene, and is a kind of Nonionic surfactant. It is also called Poloxamer 407 and Poloxamer 407. It is a block copolymer of polyoxyethylene and polyoxypropylene.
Appearance: White to yellowish waxy particles or powder.
Soluble in water or DMSO.
Main function: often used to enhance the water solubility of dyes and improve the cell permeability of fat-soluble dyes. In addition, Pluronic FMel 127 is also commonly used to separate membrane proteins and treat the surface of materials to change their properties, such as reducing the non-specific adsorption of proteins or cells on the surface of materials.
Features: non-hemolytic, solvent compatibility, low foaming, good wetting agent, can also be used as defoamer.
