Overview
Prolactin (PRL, also called prolactin or prolactin) is a protein hormone secreted by eosinophils of anterior pituitary gland. The main function is to promote mammary gland growth, stimulate and maintain lactation, and stimulate follicular LH receptor production and so on. A polypeptide with 199amino acids and three disulfide bonds with a molecular weight of 22000.
