Overview
Aseptic condition. Soluble in 0.01mol/L phosphate buffer, PH7.4, containing 0.14mol/L sodium chloride. No preservatives.
Protein G is a cell wall protein isolated from G Streptococcus. It can bind to the Fc region of IgG of many kinds of animals (rabbit, rat, guinea pig, cow, cat, mouse, bird, sheep) and to mouse serum albumin. But it cannot be combined with IgA and IgM. It is used for immunoassay and Ig purification.
