Protein A(staphylococcal protein A)

Aseptic condition. Soluble in 0.01mol/L phosphate buffer, PH7.4, containing 0.14mol/L sodium chloride. No preservatives.

White An is a cell wall protein isolated from Staphylococcus aureus type A (Staphylococcus aureus). It has the property of binding to immunoglobulin not at the antigen binding site. It can form a complex containing A protein, antibody and antigen. Using wet bacterial liquid as raw material. It binds to the Fc segment of most types of human IgG (except IgG3), but little or no binding to human IgM. Used for immunoassay and purification of IgG.
