Overview

Scope of application.

Cells, tissue, blood, blood white cell layer, serum, saliva, urine, feces, various swabs and environmental samples. DNA, RNA, virus, bacteria, fungi, stem cells and so on.

Main function.

1. Stable preservation of nucleic acid (DNA/RNA) at room temperature: it can stably protect nucleic acid (RNA/DNA) in any biological sample without cold chain transportation or cryopreservation.

2. Maintain the authenticity and integrity of the original sample: when the preservation solution is mixed with the sample, the microbial characteristics are retained, and the sample is prevented from any change or deviation over time. There is no need to worry about the degradation of the sample. The genetic integrity of the sample can be preserved at the collection site, ensuring the integrity and consistency of RNA and DNA in the sample, and the true response collects the original composition. For sensitive downstream analysis (e.g. next generation sequencing, RT-PCR, etc.).

3. Avoid the impact of repeated freezing and thawing on biological samples: biological samples can be transported and preserved at room temperature, and biological samples can also be preserved at low temperature to avoid the negative effects of repeated freezing and thawing on biological samples.

4. Nucleic acid (DNA/RNA) preservation function at room temperature: RNA integrity in samples stored at room temperature for 21 days, RNA protection rate and integrity ≥ 70%; DNA60 days in samples stored at room temperature, DNA protection rate and integrity ≥ 70%;

5. Pathogen inactivation function: instantly inactivate pathogens (viruses, bacteria, fungi and parasites, etc.) in samples to ensure biosafety, ensure personnel safety and avoid cross-infection.

6. Liquid sample collection function: can be used as liquid sample collection liquid, on-site collection of liquid samples. It can be used in a variety of collection containers to meet different sample needs: blood collection tube, fecal collection tube, cleavage tube or swab collection tube, etc. Preservation solution: the mixing ratio of liquid sample is 4:1 (e.g. 200 μ L of preservation solution, 50 μ L of liquid sample).

7. The treatment of nucleic acid extraction in the later stage is simple: it is compatible with most nucleic acid extraction methods, and DNA/RNA can be extracted directly without precipitation and removal of preservation solution.

Operation method

The ratio of biological sample to preservation solution is recommended to be 4: 1: 1: 1: 4.

1. Preservation of liquid biological samples whose main target is DNA.

Four liquid biological samples such as fresh whole blood, anticoagulant, blood white cell layer, serum, saliva, urine and swabs were taken, and one biological sample nucleic acid long-term preservation solution at room temperature was added. The mixed ratio of sample and preservation solution was 4:1. After mixing evenly, DNA can be stored at room temperature for 60 days, and the degradation rate of DNA is less than 30%.

2. Preservation of liquid biological samples whose main target is RNA.

One liquid biological sample such as fresh whole blood, anticoagulant, blood white cell layer, serum, saliva, urine and swab was taken, and 4 samples of nucleic acid long-term preservation solution at room temperature were added. The mixing ratio of sample and preservation solution was 1:4. After mixing evenly, RNA can be stored at room temperature for 21 days, and the degradation rate of RNA is less than 30%.

3. Preservation of liquid biological samples whose main target is DNA/RNA.

One liquid biological sample such as fresh whole blood, anticoagulant, blood white cell layer, serum, saliva, urine and swab was taken, and one biological sample nucleic acid long-term preservation solution at room temperature was added. The mixing ratio of sample and preservation solution was 1:1. Mix well.

4. Tissue solid sample.

1 take an appropriate amount of solid tissue samples, add long-term preservation solution of biological sample nucleic acid at room temperature, and completely soak solid tissue samples, which can maintain the original authenticity and integrity of biological samples.

(2) if it is a fecal sample, take an appropriate amount of sample (1g or 1mL) and add a certain volume of biological sample nucleic acid long-term preservation solution (9mL) at room temperature, with a proportion of about 4 to 1 to 1 to 4, which can maintain the original authenticity of the biological components in the original sample, such as the initial microbial community at the time of collection.
