General description.
Chemical structure: macrolide.
Application.
Tylosin is a macrolide antibiotic commonly used in veterinary drugs. It has been used to study the protein synthesis of 50s ribosome, the prevention of abscess at bovine implantation site, disposal kinetics and Mycoplasma gallisepticum and Mycoplasma turkey infection. The recommended concentration for cell culture is 8 mg/L.
Biochemical / physiological behavior.
Mode of action: tylosin tartrate inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to 50s (L27 protein) ribosome. Antibacterial spectrum: this product can fight against Gram-positive bacteria and mycoplasma.

The storage solution should be filtered and sterilized and stored at 2-8 °C. the solution can be stable at 37 °C for 3 days.
