General description.
Nmaine-methylene bisacrylamide is a cross-linking agent which can polymerize with acrylamide and form cross-linking in polyacrylamide gel. It creates a network (rather than a linear chain) that helps maintain the firmness of the gel.

Application.
N-methylene bisacrylamide has been applied to the preparation of gels. It was also used as a test compound to study the biochemical separation of psoriasis insoluble Tau protein in Tau protein disease transgenic mouse model by investigating the two main isolation methods of sarkosyl and formic acid extraction.
