Biochemical / physiological behavior.
Cellular permeable diterpenes with antihypertensive, positive inotropic effects and adenylate cyclase activity. Many of its biological effects are due to the activation of adenylate cyclase and the resulting increase in intracellular cAMP concentration. Foscolin can affect calcium current and inhibit MAP kinase.
