Application.
Citric acid has been used to: 1) prepare 0.25M phosphate citrate buffer for enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay; 2) synthesize ceria nanoparticles in the preparation of citrate-stabilized ceria hydrosol; 3) citric acid-Na 2 HPO 4 buffer solution for determination of fecal urease activity. 4) preparation of anticoagulant citrate glucose solution A (ACD-A) for isolation of endothelial progenitor cells from blood; 5) Synthesis of palladium cubic octahedron by chlorination hydroxide etching, which can control the particle size.
General description.
Citric acid is an organic acid commonly used in food and pharmaceutical industries. The carbon nanoparticles derived from citric acid (CNDs) were prepared by bottom-up carbonization method. The phase diagram of the binary mixture of citric acid and tartaric acid shows eutectic behavior. The catalytic activity of citric acid for the acetylation of alcohols and phenols can be enhanced by immobilization on magnetic nanoparticles. The molar enthalpy of its aqueous solution in anhydrous and monohydrate form has been reported. Li4Ti5O12 (lithium titanate) was synthesized by a new sol-gel method with citric acid as a two-component chelating agent.
