Biochemical / physiological behavior.
Irreversible serine protease inhibitors. The inhibition constant is similar to that of PMSF and DFP. AEBSF can inhibit trypsin, chymotrypsin, plasmin, kallikrein and thrombin. As a substitute for PMSF and DFP, AEBSF has lower toxicity, better water solubility and better stability of aqueous solution. AEBSF has been used in cell culture at a concentration up to 0.25mM.
Application.
It is recommended to use a concentration of 0.1 to 1mM.
